The ICC Cricket World Cup Trophy Tour driven by Nissan is a chance for fans around the world to get up close to the ICC Cricket World Cup as it travels on its longest ever journey across five continents, 21 countries and more than 60 cities. Having started on the 27 of August 2018, the ICC Cricket World Cup has toured the world connecting with old fans and new, ahead of the Cricket World Cup which is to take place across eleven venues in England and Wales from 30 May to 14 July 2019.
The Trophy is doing its rounds at various iconic destinations within South Africa and today, uShaka Marine World was selected as one of Durban’s iconic destination on its journey.
Seen “welcoming” the trophy at uShaka were: Aubrey Ngubane, Abel Mokoena, Delia the Dolphin, Sharmaine Ramsahai and Larry Oellermann
Fans can follow its journey on the Trophy Tour section of the ICC website, which includes an interactive map outlining the itinerary with information about each stop. They will also be able to see behind the scenes content and for the first time will be able to follow the trophy in real time as it makes its way around the world.
